About When is the best time to travel to orlando, ( I am pregnant so I want to avoid the crowds)

When is the best time to travel to orlando, ( I am pregnant so I want to avoid the crowds)?
We are planning a trip in March but I don't want to run into spring break but I am not sure when spring break is. I am looking to go for 5 to 6 days when the weather is nice crowds are low and the rates as well. So it has to be somewhere in march to early April. And what is the best day or time to book a flight so that it is less crowded?

Answer 1 :
To be very honest ...Tourist season ends for the most part after Easter and begins right around October . I hope that gives you an idea of a decent booking to enjoy Orlando.
Answer 2 :
Avoid the crowds over spring break? unfortunately keep dreaming. I live just outside tampa, about a two hour drive to orlando. At Disney, it is a more family oriented park, therefore the lines are longer than say Epcot or even Islands of Adventure. The best thing to do is buy your park tickets online in advance ( it will save you about a hour line when you get there) and go to the parks during the week (not friday saturday or sunday). But generally, you'll be there with all the other tourists over Spring Break. If you want to save money on airfare, try traveling farther away from the actual "spring break" as the fare will be lower. But please, don't drive (no offense) - im just sick of seeing soo many NY, NJ,Michigan, and Ontario license plates!!!
Answer 3 :
I like early March. It isn't too hot and not too crowded. Spring break is around March 15 to 30, so you would be ahead of it.
Answer 4 :
Just about any time in March is going to have crowds. After checking out the Spring Break schedules of most of the colleges, the majority of them are out the week before Easter this year. However the spring break season starts the first week of March and goes until the third week in April. I usually go over Easter which is the second busiest time of the year behind Christmas and have never had a problem with it being TOO crowded. It is crowded, but not nearly as bad as Christmas and New Year's. I would say your best bet would be to go either in late April after spring breaks are over or early March before they begin. The weather is pretty good either time, March should be warm enough to swim but not hot, April the same. March and April are the months that get the least amount of rain on the average, so that should not be an issue either. What you need to do is check out when the off-peak times are for Disney. If crowds are your only concern, then the off peak times are the times you want to visit, other than what I already suggested. One thing to keep in mind, however. The off peak seasons are less crowded and less expensive, however they also have some drawbacks. The parks generally close earlier than during the peak seasons, and this is when Disney does most of it's refurbishments and ride repairs, so some of the more popular rides may be shut down. Also, many of the normal park attractions and shows are not scheduled during the off peak season, so you may not get to see a certain parade or character you were hoping for. I went to Disney with my wife and daughter when my daughter was 4 and my wife was 6 1/2 months pregnant with my son. We were there the third week of March (back in 2000) and there were no issues whatsoever with the heat or crowds being unreasonable. Take the earliest flight possible. When we fly we usually get the early flight out, and it is usually only partially full. You have to get up at an unruly hour, but you have the airport to yourself and one extra day in the parks. Hope this helps. If you want more info I would suggest the disboards. The disboards is a message board website all aobut going to Disney. You can get resort reviews, dining reviews, trip reports, tips for avoiding crowds, and much more. I put the link below.
Answer 5 :
From my experience the parks seem to stay fairly full the whole time which is a wonder in itself. You will get a good rate with a carrier in March. because you are pregnant you dont want to leave it to long as travelling late in pregnancy is not recommended.
Answer 6 :
September and January are the two best months to visit, for crowds and weather.

About Can you tell me a cheap travel agency in Orlando or Miami that can organice my 14 day holidays

Can you tell me a cheap travel agency in Orlando or Miami that can organice my 14 day holidays?
I know Disney resorts offer a lot of good packages, but they don't offer you the possibility to go to Miami, or other theme parks like Universal or Sea World. I was thinking 7 days in Orlando and 5 in Miami. Do you know wich agency can help me in a cheap and safe way? Thanks! I'm checking a site called worldleisureclub but I can't find the kind of package I'm looking for, a 14 day trip with Disney, sea world and Miami included...

Why don't you use your internet resources and book the options you want yourself or find a travel agent in your area? I don't know any in Orlando or Miami aside from Disney Travel Company. I understand why you prefer not to use them but think it will be best in your case to you someone who is local to you so you can explain in person exactly what you want.
Answer 2 :
I'm not in Orlando. But I own a travel agency and pride myself in finding thebest deals anywhere. Dave SweetVacations correll24@gmail.com
Answer 3 :
Don't know any "cheap" travel agencies Orlando etc I live U.K and Try www.ocean-florida.com (Tel 0800 846 4386) on the web I have been now 6 times to Florida I have travelled 4 times now with this company they have made me up 4 very good packages with flights accommodation and car-hire. Each holiday gets better and better each year I would recommend visiting a resort rather than the hotels ( not great) on International Drive or a villa (which can be quite isolated) but with the resorts condominiums/apartments are "awesome" in Kissimmee/Davenport area each year they have "special offers" Good Prices !! Have stayed in Naples Miami Kissimmee Orlando Good luck........................
Answer 4 :
Hey have you checked out these two website yet, you can sometimes find good deals http://orlando.nyctourist.com/ or http://www.123world.com/orlando/ Good luck!

About Any good travel books/scrap-booking sites for Orlando and Tampa Bay

Any good travel books/scrap-booking sites for Orlando and Tampa Bay?
I am a 13 year old girl. I will soon be traveling with my family to Orlando, Florida. Are there any good travel books that would not just cover Disney, but also other Orlando attractions and Tampa Bay? Also I enjoy scrap-booking, but am quite bad at it. Are there any good websites about scrap-booking, specifically Orlando scrap-booking?

Answer 1 :
There is a great book that I looked at last spring when we went to Florida. It's called "Beyond Disney: The Unofficial Guide to Universal SeaWorld & the Best of Central Florida" by Bob Sehlinger. It's really helpful and packed with information on stuff to do and see. Regarding the scrapbooking, don't worry about being bad at it! There's no wrong way to scrap! Here is a website with some ideas of scrapbook pages from a Florida vacation. http://scrapbooking.about.com/od/layouts/ig/Disney-Scrapbook-Pages/ It can give you some ideas. Also try googling "scrapbook ideas" and see what comes up. Have fun!
Answer 2 :
You should be able to fin many good travel books about Disney and the Orlando attractions at any public library or at any bookstore. But I have a great location for you to go to right now for scrapbooking supplies. Its online and its called www.scrapyourtrip.com. They have the best travel related scrapbook materials that I hve found on the web or in most stores. One more place to check is the yellow pages when you arrive in Florida. Look under scrapbooking and it that doesn't work, look under craft stores. Also, I found when I was in Disneyland a few years ago, that the shops in Downtown Disney carried some scrapbooking kits and stickers. Hope you have a great trip and bring back some great pictures!

look on expedia.com that will help ya
Answer 2 :
You'd need to book a travel package with a local travel agent in your area if you'd like to book it all together in one payment. Or, you can book everything yourself (which can often save money). If you would like help planning for your next trip or if you would just like to read up on some fun tips and ideas that are updated monthly, visit my Disney Vacation Services Website, at: http://im-all-ears-disney-vacation-services.blogspot.com/ Have a great time!
