About When is the best time to travel to orlando, ( I am pregnant so I want to avoid the crowds)

When is the best time to travel to orlando, ( I am pregnant so I want to avoid the crowds)?
We are planning a trip in March but I don't want to run into spring break but I am not sure when spring break is. I am looking to go for 5 to 6 days when the weather is nice crowds are low and the rates as well. So it has to be somewhere in march to early April. And what is the best day or time to book a flight so that it is less crowded?

To be very honest ...Tourist season ends for the most part after Easter and begins right around October . I hope that gives you an idea of a decent booking to enjoy Orlando.

Avoid the crowds over spring break? unfortunately keep dreaming. I live just outside tampa, about a two hour drive to orlando. At Disney, it is a more family oriented park, therefore the lines are longer than say Epcot or even Islands of Adventure. The best thing to do is buy your park tickets online in advance ( it will save you about a hour line when you get there) and go to the parks during the week (not friday saturday or sunday). But generally, you'll be there with all the other tourists over Spring Break. If you want to save money on airfare, try traveling farther away from the actual "spring break" as the fare will be lower. But please, don't drive (no offense) - im just sick of seeing soo many NY, NJ,Michigan, and Ontario license plates!!!

I like early March. It isn't too hot and not too crowded. Spring break is around March 15 to 30, so you would be ahead of it.

Just about any time in March is going to have crowds. After checking out the Spring Break schedules of most of the colleges, the majority of them are out the week before Easter this year. However the spring break season starts the first week of March and goes until the third week in April. I usually go over Easter which is the second busiest time of the year behind Christmas and have never had a problem with it being TOO crowded. It is crowded, but not nearly as bad as Christmas and New Year's. I would say your best bet would be to go either in late April after spring breaks are over or early March before they begin. The weather is pretty good either time, March should be warm enough to swim but not hot, April the same. March and April are the months that get the least amount of rain on the average, so that should not be an issue either. What you need to do is check out when the off-peak times are for Disney. If crowds are your only concern, then the off peak times are the times you want to visit, other than what I already suggested. One thing to keep in mind, however. The off peak seasons are less crowded and less expensive, however they also have some drawbacks. The parks generally close earlier than during the peak seasons, and this is when Disney does most of it's refurbishments and ride repairs, so some of the more popular rides may be shut down. Also, many of the normal park attractions and shows are not scheduled during the off peak season, so you may not get to see a certain parade or character you were hoping for. I went to Disney with my wife and daughter when my daughter was 4 and my wife was 6 1/2 months pregnant with my son. We were there the third week of March (back in 2000) and there were no issues whatsoever with the heat or crowds being unreasonable. Take the earliest flight possible. When we fly we usually get the early flight out, and it is usually only partially full. You have to get up at an unruly hour, but you have the airport to yourself and one extra day in the parks. Hope this helps. If you want more info I would suggest the disboards. The disboards is a message board website all aobut going to Disney. You can get resort reviews, dining reviews, trip reports, tips for avoiding crowds, and much more. I put the link below.
Answer 5 :
From my experience the parks seem to stay fairly full the whole time which is a wonder in itself. You will get a good rate with a carrier in March. because you are pregnant you dont want to leave it to long as travelling late in pregnancy is not recommended.
Answer 6 :
September and January are the two best months to visit, for crowds and weather.
